Primarily, this information is provided by you, the user when you sign up for an account as it is necessary for us to collect certain PII in order to allow you to log into the Service. This may be limited to email addresses, phone numbers, your name, and additional information in order to allow you to securely and safely login to your account.
The Service will not collect any other PII from you outside of requests for technical support or legal requests for copyright.

Personally Identifiable Information You Provide To Us
Any personal information that we may collect about you is voluntarily provided to us by you. We receive and may store the information you provide to us. As you navigate through the Website, there are several online forms which you can use to request information about us. In order for us to respond to your request, we ask that you provide to us, among other things, your first and last name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address on the online form. Other information may be identified as optional, and you may choose whether or not to provide it. The use of these online forms is completely voluntary. We may use your first and last name, email address, mailing address and telephone number to contact you from time to time. In addition, we may use that information internally for assessing our business and how the Website is used. Visitors to the Website may navigate the entire Website without using any of these features or providing any information.
Correspondence
If you correspond with us, we may retain such information and PII included as part of the correspondence. In addition, where we have sent an email to you, we may receive confirmation that you have opened it. If you want to unsubscribe from a Built Custom Homes email list, please let us know by following the “Unsubscribe” instructions that are included in each promotional email from us. Please note that such requests may take up to ten (10) days to become effective.

Built Custom Homes takes children’s privacy seriously and encourages parents to play an active role in their children’s online experience at all times. If we become involved in a merger, acquisition or other transaction involving the sale of some or all of Built Custom Homes' assets or a line of business, user information, including personal information collected from you through your use of the Service, could be included in the transferred assets. Should such an event occur, Built Custom Homes will use reasonable means to notify you through a prominent notice on the Service. By sharing your personal information with Built Custom Homes, you are giving Built Custom Homes consent to transfer your personal information to a third party in an asset transfer described here.

Additional Information You Should Know About Third Parties
When you click on a third party logo or URL displayed on our Service that links you to a different website, our Privacy Policy no longer applies and you must read the privacy policy of the third party to see how your personal information will be handled on their website. If you cannot find their privacy policy, then you should contact the respective webmasters of those websites to obtain information regarding their information collection, use and disclosure policies. We are not responsible for their collection and use of your personal information.
How Long Do we Typically Retain your Personal Information?
While it may differ depending on your relationship with us and your use of the service, we will typically retain your information for the duration of our business relationship, unless we are instructed by you to delete your information, a period of 1 year goes by since you have last utilized our service, or we are otherwise required to delete your information under law. Nonetheless, some information may be deleted from our servers when they no longer become relevant to your continued relationship with us.
Built Custom Homes reserves the rights to retain information as necessary to improve the Service and respond to legal requests. You may have the opportunity to opt-out of certain communications and modify any demographic information you've provided. Please be aware this may take several hours to be reflected.
Upon an event requiring deletion of your account data under law, Built Custom Homes deletes all the above-mentioned data in its possession within a reasonable timeframe. Built Custom Homes does not verify the correctness of personal data.
In some cases, we may not be able to delete your personal information, and will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We take reasonable steps and appropriate measures to protect data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Please note that some data may be retained if necessary to resolve disputes, enforce Built Custom Homes' user agreements, and comply with technical and legal requirements and constraints related to the security, integrity and operation of the Service.
What Choices Do You Have About the Collection and Use of Your Personal Information?
Built Custom Homes allows you to control the way we use personally identifying information that we might obtain.
You may opt out of any disclosure of personal data to a third party or the use of data for any purpose other than the one for which it was initially collected by emailing us at info@builtcustomhomes.com. You must provide us with the email address previously submitted to us regarding the Service and the details of your privacy request. Alternatively, Built Custom Homes uses an app called GDPR/CCPA which offers customers the ability to make requests to edit their data, to receive their data, or to request data deletion. To use this function, a banner will be displayed on the website allowing customers to make these choices.
Please note that depending on your residency, you may have additional choices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.
What security measures do we take to safeguard your personal information?
We treat data private information that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. To safeguard the confidentiality and security of your personal information, we may use industry standard practices, engage specialized vendors, and technologies including but not limited to firewalls, encrypted transmission and data encryption of sensitive personal information when it is stored to disk.
However, no server, computer or communications network or system, or data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect user information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or through the Service and you acknowledge and agree that you provide such information and engage in such transmissions at your own risk. Once we receive a transmission from you, we will endeavor to maintain its security on our systems.
California Resident Protections
California Residents: Your California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users who are residents of the state of California to request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, send an email to info@builtcustomhomes.com with "Request for California Privacy Information" on the subject line and in the body of your message. Include the website or line of business to which your request pertains. We will provide the requested information to you at your e-mail address in response. Please allow thirty (30) days for a response. We are required to respond to only one request per customer each year, and we are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through the above email address.
We will not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes if you request that we do not do so. You may make such a request by sending us an email at info@builtcustomhomes.com. When contacting us, please indicate your name, address, email address, which website or line of business to which your request pertains, and what personal information you do not want us to share with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Please note that there is no charge for controlling the sharing of your personal information or for processing this request.
California Do Not Track Disclosures
California Business & Professions Code Section 22575(b) (as amended effective January 1, 2014) provides that California residents are entitled to know how a website operator responds to “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser settings. DNT is a feature offered by some browsers which, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing is not tracked, such as by third party ad networks, social networks and analytic companies. We do not currently take actions to respond to DNT signals because a uniform technological standard has not yet been developed. California Residents: Your Request Rights
If you are a California resident, you should be aware that you have certain special rights regarding your information and may request the following.

Alternatively, you may directly confirm with us, either in person or via a phone call, that the agent is authorized to submit the request. Please know that in the event of an in-person or phone call authorization, we may need you to confirm your identity by providing your name, email address, and that you answer any questions we deem appropriate reflecting the PII that you have previously provided to us.
California Residents: How to make a request
You can submit a request concerning disclosures, correction, or deletion of your information by sending an email to us describing your request (i.e. a request to know information, request to correct, or a request to delete) at info@builtcustomhomes.com. We will need your name, email address, and confirmation that you live within California to respond to your request. We will require you to verify your identity by answering any questions we deem appropriate reflecting PII that you have previously provided to us. These requests are free, and requests to disclose information may be made twice a year, though we reserve the right to implement a reasonable fee for excessive or complex requests you may submit. We may not be able to oblige all requests, as we are prohibited from disclosing some personal information.
If you wish, you can also designate a third party to make requests under the California Consumer Privacy Act on your behalf by appointing an authorized agent as described above.
California Residents: Sensitive Personal Information
If you are a California Resident, please note that we are limited in how we can use, disclose, or share your sensitive personal information based upon what you have consented to in this Privacy Policy.
Response Timing and Format
We endeavor to respond to verifiable consumer requests for access, deletion, or correction within forty-five (45) days of its receipt, and a verifiable opt-out request within fifteen (15) days from receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request's receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
Personal Information Sales Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights
If you are 16 years of age or older, you have the right to opt-out and direct us to not sell or share your personal information at any time. We do not sell the personal information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age, unless we receive affirmative authorization (the "right to opt-in") from either the consumer who is between 13 and 16 years of age, or the parent or guardian of a consumer less than 13 years of age. Consumers who opt-in to personal information sales may opt-out of future sales at any time.

Once you make an opt-out request, we will wait at least twelve (12) months before asking you to reauthorize personal information sales or sharing. However, you may change your mind and opt back in to personal information sales at any time by e-mailing us at info@builtcustomhomes.com.
You do not need to create an account with us to exercise your opt-out rights. We will only use personal information provided in an opt-out request to review and comply with the request.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services.
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
However, we may offer you certain financial incentives permitted by the CCPA that can result in different prices, rates, or quality levels. Any CCPA-permitted financial incentive we offer will reasonably relate to your personal information's value and contain written terms that describe the program's material aspects. Participation in a financial incentive program requires your prior opt in consent, which you may revoke.
Other Issues
Notification of Changes
This Privacy Policy may change from time to time and we will post all changes on the Service. You understand and agree that you will be deemed to have accepted the updated Privacy Policy after (1) providing your personal information to us via the Service; or (2) providing us your personal information in correspondence.
